Krzysztof Mielczarek is a musician, saxophonist and composer.
His longstanding passion for different styles of music brings to his audience a fusion of jazz, Latin, and classical music for saxophone.

His compositional output includes pieces for solos, duos, instrumental ensembles, orchestras and big-bands as well as music for film and theatre. He also works extensively within the area of computer based music production.

As a performer Krzysztof has collaborated with various ensembles and big bands with whom he toured in Germany, France, Czech Republic, Scotland, England and Poland.

Krzysztof studied saxophone performance and piano at the Lutoslawski School of Music in Poland and the saxophone at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland where he acquired his Bachelor of Music (BMus). He also holds Masters degree in music composition from Leeds College of Music in England.

As a private music tutor Krzysztof enjoys teaching saxophone, music theory, composition and arrangement to a range of levels from complete beginners to more advanced students. He shares his passion for arts and music with a diverse group of people. He believes that learning music should be FUN. Everybody regardless of age, background and education is able to learn how to play a musical instrument. All you need is lots of enthusiasm!
